Collectively, staff at the NMSC have a wide range of experience across a variety of research fields. As such, we regularly provide consultancy services to all levels of government and to the private sector.

In particular, we provide expert opinion in the fields of impact assessment and monitoring (in all marine and estuarine habitats), and aquaculture/mariculture. In addition to research-based consultancies, we offer training to build capacity in specific fields of investigation.

These services are applied widely within the coastal sector and provide support for management of coastal resources (see our research pages to discover more about fields of expertise).
