The National Marine Science Centre Experience
Uniquely positioned within the Solitary Islands Marine Park at Coffs Harbour, the National Marine Science Centre offers superb function spaces to suit all your requirements.
Your ‘NMSC Experience’ will begin from the moment you approach tree-lined Bay Drive. The striking architecture of the Centre reveals itself as you continue past Charlesworth Beach Reserve to the idyllic waters of Charlesworth Bay.
Rates for venue hire are highly competitive – the ambience, atmosphere and superior quality of the facility are not truly reflected in the price. The Centre is equipped with all the latest resources, some of which are included with room hire. Parking is in close proximity and in plentiful supply. A variety of accommodation and catering packages are available on request.
The success of your function ‘experience’ at the NMSC is limited only by your imagination!
NMSC Facilities
Foyer - The NMSC Foyer is the perfect space for product launches, pre and post event gatherings and cocktail parties. Featuring a marine ‘theme’, the Foyer is also the ideal breakout room for delegates.
Tiered Lecture Theatre - The NMSC Lecture Theatre is ideally suited for presentations and conferences. With a capacity to seat 80, the Theatre is complete with all the latest audio visual resources.
Workshop Room - This room seats 30 with the option of various configurations to suit your needs including theatre, u-shape and classroom styles.
Research Laboratory - An ideal ‘study’ focused environment with a capacity to seat 80, complete with audio visual facilities if required.
NMSC Board Room - The NMSC Board Room seats 14 and is located in a private space on the 3rd floor of the Centre.
