ASISTM School Activity Program Resources

This material has been developed by the National Marine Science Centre as a part of the Australian School Innovation, Science, Technology and Mathematics Project funded by the Australian Government Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations as a part of the Boosting Innovation, Science, Technology and Mathematics Teaching (BISTMT) Programme.

Years 9-12

The National Marine Science Centre School Activity Program Field and Laboratory Resource Book provides a number of activities focusing on specific aspects of the marine environment. Activities are targeted for students in years 9-12 (Stage 5/6).

Years 7-10

Field and laboratory activities provide students with a ‘hands-on’ interactive learning experience in specific aspects of the marine environment. These activities have been closely aligned with the Stage 4 and 5 NSW Board of Studies Syllabus Outcomes as indicated in the activity outlines.
