NMSC Association Inc. The National Marine Science Centre Association is a not-for-profit organisation that assists in community events and raising the profile of the National Marine Science Centre. The NMSC Association aims are:
- To raise awareness in the general community of the marine environment and the role of marine science in modern society
- To allow the public to become actively involved in marine science through volunteer programs, memberships and public education programs
- To raise funds for the support of marine scientific training and research at the National Marine Science Centre
- To encourage young Australians to consider science as an option for their career paths
